Carol and Ceri warmly welcome you to stay in their 5 star Gold accredited bed and breakfast/guest house. Beechwood is set in the heart of the East Sussex countryside, just 5 minutes from Uckfield, 10 minutes from historic Lewes and Glyndebourne, and 30 minutes from Brighton, Eastbourne and Royal Tunbridge Wells.
All have excellent rail links to London or Gatwick Airport. It offers a very central base from which to explore East Sussex, with many places of interest such as National Trust venues, glorious walks in beautiful countryside across the South Downs National Park or along stunning coastlines such as Beachy Head and the Seven Sisters country park. All are within a 30 minutes drive from Beechwood.
From the moment you turn off the A22 and park on our large drive, you can allow yourself to settle into the sumptuous surroundings of the one-acre site where you can enjoy the luxury of the Emerald, Sapphire or Ruby Rooms. All rooms have been very tastefully decorated with the greatest attention to detail and everything anyone could want for the most comfortable stay.
Rest peacefully in our luxurious beds adorned with beautiful linen and allow yourself the perfect night’s sleep. Each bathroom has a high-powered shower with luxury towels and toiletries and all have been decorated with the greatest care. Carol and Ceri take great pride in providing home-from-home comforts, married with a sense of warmth and elegance.
The added bonus of a comprehensive menu of delicious award-winning breakfasts, made with locally sourced produce, served in the stunning conservatory and overlooking the beautifully maintained garden allows you to perfectly set up your day in East Sussex. Carol and Ceri make every effort to cater for all dietary needs and are happy to advise on the numerous quality local pubs and restaurants for a delightful evening meal.

Glyndebourne is a unique operatic event which attracts people from around the world. The festival runs over several weeks so this can allow people to attend on several different days.
The 2016 Festival has now finished but the 2017 Festival will include the world premiere of a new commission, two new productions and the welcome return of three Glyndebourne classics.
The Glyndebourne Tour returns in autumn 2016 to deliver world-class opera on stage and on screen to venues across the country including Glyndebourne, Milton Keynes, Canterbury, Norwich, Woking, and Plymouth, see here for full details.
